INTELIGÊNCIA ARTIFICIAL NO SISTEMA PENAL E A LINHA TÊNUE ENTRE SEGURANÇA E A PROTEÇÃO DOS DIREITOS INDIVIDUAIS
Abstract
This research analyzes the incorporation of new technologies, particularly Artificial Intelligence, into contemporary Criminal Law. It is based on the premise that such tools significantly impact criminal prosecution by increasing the efficiency of investigative and judicial processes. However, it also highlights the risks to the protection of fundamental rights, given the potential for excessive surveillance and state action that exceeds constitutional limits and compromises human dignity.
